About us:

We’re a service that brings affordable vet care to San Diegans (we even have clients in LA and all over CA).

How do we do that?

We take pets to Tijuana for vet care. We’re a liaison and transportation service. You’ll find that we do A LOT more than just the driving. We help people select the right clinic for their pet’s needs, we make the appointments, help them get the travel documents in order, provide transportation on the day of the appointment, and then continue to provide support well after the appointment (med refills, connecting them with the vet clinic to chat about after care concerns, etc.).

Driver position

We’re hiring full-time and part-time morning and afternoon drivers.

The morning shift starts around 8 am and goes to around 4-5 pm. The afternoon shift starts around 1 pm and goes to around 8-10 pm.

During your shift you’d be asked to keep in close contact with the pet owners (most important), work closely with the other MexiVet drivers on that day, use a variety of apps to collect and record information about the pet’s vet visit, check pets in and out at the clinics, maintain quality control standards, set up and break down the crates in your van including cleaning them at the end of every shift, and ultimately work to ensure client satisfaction.

Driver must haves:

  • Love of animals

  • Good communicator

  • Comfortable with technology and working with various apps

  • Capable of lifting 30 pounds

  • US passport card (for Ready Lane)

  • Drivers license

  • Clean driving record

  • Some Spanish

  • Multitasker

  • Problem solver

  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment

  • Comfortable driving in Tijuana

  • Outgoing

  • Team player
