If a XOX Pets team member said you’d get an update, and you still have not received a call or text, we encourage you to reach out to them directly. If you called and/or texted and can’t get through, let a MexiVet team member know ASAP so we can help you during their business hours.

WILL I RECEIVE CONSULTATION NOTES?
In most cases, yes, you will receive a printout of the services, results, and recommendations of the vet. This might also be emailed to you instead of provided as a physical copy:

WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY LAB RESULTS?
Please note that consultation or lab results might be in Spanish. If you need help translating the documents, Google Translate and Chat GPT are great tools. You can also reach out to the vet for translation assistance.
Vet services and result wait times (all results will be sent digitally to your email - check your spam folder too):
Blood work - 1-2 days
Xrays - 1-2 days
Ultrasound - 4 days
Echocardiogram - 4 days
Urinalysis - 2 days
Pathology - 2-3 weeks
Cytology - 1 week
Fungal, bacterial, urine culture - 1-2 weeks
T4 thyroid test - 3 days
Cushings test - 1 week
*IMPORTANT NOTE: If you paid for one of these services and are now waiting longer than you should be for the results, first reach out to XOX Pets directly (contact info above). Vet services with NO physical/digital copies:
Skin scrape - verbal results during appointment, you will not get copies, in-house diagnostics only
Where do i register my pet’s microchip?
There are multiple sites you can register your pet’s microchip. The leading ones seem to be Home Again and AKC Reunite. Feel free to reach out to a MexiVet team member if you’re having any trouble getting the microchip registered, we can help!
DO I NEED A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT?
If you had an appointment and your pet is not getting better or the treatment does not seem to be working, please reach out to the hospital directly through either WhatsApp, text, phone call, or email. Send them a summary of how your pet is doing and if relevant, send pictures too. They might be able to adjust the treatment and send a medication delivery with a MexiVet driver. Ask about that!
